The coasts of Central America are the western edge of the Caribbean Sea. Also of interest are the related islands and the terrestrial environment like the rain forests, active volcanoes and pre-Columbian cultures, some of them still present.


The Central American coast extends from north to south in the Caribbean Sea from the Yucatan Strait to the Gulf of Darien. In front of the coast there are a many islands, coral cays and shallow sandy bottom. In the coast the mangrove forests are abundant and tourism development well located and equipped to welcome all visitors who want to know this land of dreams and mystery of past adeventure stories.
